Hos Surfsentrum og SeaSport kan du nå ta Amundson Surfboards nærmere i øyensyn. 18 brett er på plass og klare til test og salg. Ryktene fra “verden” forteller at dette er bra saker. Og vi gleder oss til å høre responsen fra Norske surfere.

Brettene er designet av John Amundson, og for at brettene skal nå ut på markedet er produksjonen finansiert av Mistral. Brettene lages hos Cobra i Thailand.

Mistral forteller…
John is a third generation surfer/waterman who not only surfs but has made a life style based around the ocean he loves to play in. His attraction, no doubt, was engraved into him as a child.

At age 16 he picked up his first power planer and shaped his first surfboard. 20 years later, living on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii, John has made shaping surfboards, big wave tow-in surfboards and kiteboards into a career. Working only with the best shapers and team riders, like the Naish family in the 80ies and 90ies or currently with World Cup Hero Nik Baker and Mark Nelson, has ensured that our customers received the most up-to-date and fully developed board design innovations.

According to this philosophy we’ve chosen John to design our new surfboard range, as only a few surfers and shapers can say that they have as much experience when talking about waves. His Mistral surfboard design concept meets the demands of beginners up to hot short board rippers.
